AgX at the Northampton Film Festival

The program, Stretching the Frame: Death, Dying, and the Material Body, curated by AgX member, Sarah Bliss, will screen as part of the Northampton Film Festival.  New VenueThe Iconica Social Club, 1 Amber Lane, Northampton, MA 01060. Sunday October 1, 2:30 PM.  Filmmakers include Anto Astudillo, Ethan Berry, Nicolas Brynolfson, Susan Deleo, Peaches Goodrich, Stefan Grabowski, Mariya Nikiforova, Mike Piso, Kathryn Ramey, Robert Todd, Douglas Urbank.

  • Friday, July 28, 2017: Short solo movement works by emerging butoh artists Julie Becker, Jessie Hansen, Melanie Hedlund, Rieger Ofri and Elaine Thap.
  • Saturday, July 29: Trio performance by Sara June (movement), Douglas Urbank (film) and Max Lord (sound), along with duet performance by dancer/choreographers Zack Fuller and Emily Smith. 
  • Sunday, July 30: Movement workshop with Zack Fuller.

FPTC's Production of Dhalgren Sunrise

Fort Point Theater Channel celebrates its 10th anniversary with the premiere of Dhalgren Sunrise, a multimedia performance art production based on the highly acclaimed sci-fi novel Dhalgren by Samuel R. Delany.  The novel was described by writer William Gibson as "a riddle that was never meant to be solved."  At Chelsea Theatre Works, June 16, 17, 18, 23 & 24.
