Experimental Film Festival Portland 2013 and Kill All Festivals

"Thin" screened as part of EFFPortland 2013, happening May 20-27, 2013.  "Elderly" included in Kill All Festivals Friday, May 10, at the White Box at the University of Oregon.  Kill All Festivals is a celebration of experimental media that will act to promote a continuum and synthesis between the Northwest Animation Festival, the Creative Music Guild, Grand Detour/EFFPortland, and Hand2Mouth Theatre.

The International Experimental Cinema Exposition at Boston's ICA

I am included in an experimental film program at Boston's Institute of Contemporary Art, curated by Christopher May of TIE, Boulder, Colorado, which includes Luther Price, Robert Todd, Jodie Mack, and Saul Levine, among others.  Sunday, April 21 at 3:00 PM.

Viz/Po at Atlantic Works

Atlantic Works presents VizPo, a show highlighting the intersection of words and pictures, April 6-27, 2013.  Opening Reception: April 6, 6-9 PM.  Third Thursday Party & Reading: April 18, 6-9 PM.  Gallery hours: Fri/Sat, 2-6 PM.  I will be showing type-based silk-screened monoprints, derived from a handmade 16 mm film.

Athens International Film and Video Festival

Both "Thin" and "Elderly" will be screened as part of the Athens International Film and Video Festival, Athens, Ohio, running from April 12-18, 2013.

Balagan's Film Program DIY Dystopia

My 16 mm WWII work-in-progress film will be included in Balagan's upcoming film program, DIY Dystopia, Thursday, March 14 at the Brattle Theatre in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  Members of Duck That will provide live sound accompaniment.  Duck That is: Angela Sawyer (electronics and game calls, etc.), Josh Jefferson (reeds and game calls, etc.), Steve Norton (reeds and game calls, etc.).
